Though I have never owned a Burberry suit, I can tell you that the 2 pieces of clothing (a pair of moleskin pants - with a nice flannelly lining - and a navy bomber length wool/cashmere zip front jacket) are 2 of the best made, long lasting, just plain nicest pieces I own. I have a couple of Burberry suits picked up at the Barneys Warehouse sale. One is okay, one is kind of cheapish looking applying the knowledge I've gained here. They are very conventional trad sort of suits, not some over the top odd look that screams "I'm a Burberry suit." I believe both are probably half canvassed.

Burberry used to use Hickey Freeman, who was a quality suit maker, but not any more. I was browsing through Bloomingdale's and noticed all the 2008 Burberry suits were made in the U.S.A. I checked the label in the breast pocket and it looked nearly identical to the label in my Hickey-Freeman odd jacket. Has HF made suits for Burberry for long?
Are they good quality? Nordstrom's has one at their yearly sale for 0 and it fits me perfectly and is the color I want. I believe it is a Burberry London type of suit. Are these good value suits and last long? Are they fused or canvassed? Thanks,
