If you see a Rolex with the traditional rounded case, and it has a clear caseback, more than likely you have a counterfeit. A large number of counterfeits have clear casebacks. Measurements of the thickness of the Sub with an original case-back is .505"/12.83mm , and the measurement with the Preik case-back measured the same: Copy2ofIMG_0003.jpg This example is destined for a GMT 16710. Installation was easy and fit was perfect. A pressure check showed the clear case-back to be as watertight as the original .

Clear case back on Yacht-Master WatchOut!!! No way; the best I can get is buying only one. I had to pay for a Patek Philippe Sky Moon and I did the whole walk away bit. Personally, I think the 5035 looks nicer than most Rolex movements, which tend to appear more utilitarian. Anyway, congrats! Reply reply. mets2016. •.
